It’s easy to believe the lie that you have to figure it out on your own.

But you weren’t made to walk through life—or faith—alone.

Tomorrow we’re continuing our Rhythms series and talking about community—what it means to belong, to be known, and to show up for each other even when life is messy.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, this is your invitation.

What would change if you stopped returning… and started retreating?One more meeting. One more chore. One more thing to check off the list.
We live in a rhythm of constant return—to busyness, to pressure, to performance. But when do we actually retreat?
This week in Rhythms, we’re learning that silence and solitude isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline. A way to stop the noise, pause the hustle, and finally be with God.
What would change if you stopped returning… and started retreating?

You weren’t meant to do this alone.

Faith is personal, yes—but it’s also deeply shared.
You grow stronger when you're surrounded.
You pray bolder when others stand with you.
You trust deeper when someone else believes beside you.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds… encouraging one another…”
— Hebrews 10:24–25

The rhythm of community is about showing up for one another, especially when it matters most. Like this moment—praying together before stepping into new life.

Who’s walking with you in this season?

@whiteoakcc Sometimes we run ahead, spin in circles, or drift sideways—and God doesn’t yank us back. He gently slows down… and waits for us to return.
That’s the heart of formation. And it’s the rhythm of this Rhythms series too:  To pause.  To come back.  To check in—not from fear, but from faith. Not “Am I doing everything right?” but “Is all well between us?”
If you’ve been wandering this week—He’s not far. He’s just waiting for you to walk back toward Him.

If you’ve ever tried to build a rhythm of silence or solitude, you’ve probably hit that wall.
But here’s the truth: The Holy Spirit wants to interrupt your rhythm. Not to frustrate you—but to show you a better way.
Just like an apprentice learns by letting the master step in, we grow by letting Jesus reshape the way we pray, listen, and rest.
This week, don’t resist the interruption. Lean into it.

The truth is—He does. But most of us have no space left to hear Him.
We fill every silent moment with music, notifications, articles, podcasts, and playlists. Even the pauses are noisy.
This week in Rhythms, we’re talking about silence and solitude—not as punishment, but as an invitation. A way to finally hear what God’s been saying all along.
Maybe it’s not that He’s quiet. Maybe we just haven’t stopped long enough to listen.
