The Gospel: Good News for Everyone (Part 2)
In part 2 of The Gospel: Good News for Everyone, we will look at Jesus' life as he looks toward the cross.
He makes a shift from proving who he is (the Son of God) to showing what he came to do. He came to save us. He is the promised MessiahâSavior. And he will embrace the cross that is coming for him in his future. The cross where he will bleed and die for everyone who has ever lived.
The Gospel: Good News for Everyone (Part 1)
âThe time has come,â he said. âThe Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!â
Euangelion in Greek is translated âgood newsâ or âgospel.â It combines two words: angelos, the word for one announcing news, and the prefix eu-, which means âjoyful.â Gospel, therefore, means ânews that brings joy.â It means history-making, life-shaping news! (Keller, Jesus The King).

Say Yes, No Matter What
Courage doesnât always look like slaying giants with sling shots. Sometimes courage looks like humbly surrendering our pride, choosing to believe what Jesus says, welcoming Godâs provision of the unexpected leader and persistent faith that keeps us moving forward towards full life we are promised through Jesus. This series will take a look at four different stories of women who exemplify what it means to SAY YES to following Jesus no matter what and challenge us to do the same.
Say Yes
White Oak has developed a mission and vision statement that we feel captures the heart of what God wants for all of us, Full Life. In order to live out the Full Life God has intended for us we have to say YES to the things God has for us and in turn say NO to the things that drag us down and hold us back. This series is about prioritizing the things God values. Will you say YES to God?
Storyteller
When Jesus told parables, he did so to convey a truth. A truth about how we treat each other, how we advance the kingdom, and how we love and care for one another in this world. We want to look at a few of these stories to see how Jesus is prompting us to shake up our lives and work to advance the Kingdom in our world.
One Another
In this sermon series, we explore the significance of loving and serving others as Jesus did. Through his ministry and teachings, Jesus emphasized the importance of caring for and supporting one another. As followers of Jesus, we are called to love and serve our neighbors, even praying for and helping those who may have persecuted us. Join us as we reflect on Jesus' example and the role of love and service in our own faith journeys.Watch to see more about where we believe God is leading us in 2023
