Ross Twp Campus: Children

GrowZone_1 new colorsChildren are important to us!
We have age-appropriate classes for birth through fifth grade every Sunday. We use creative learning methods to help your child develop a personal relationship with God. Within GrowZone there are specific classes for infants/toddlers, 2-3 year olds, preK/K, and elementary children. Our workers are all background-checked and have a deep desire to see that your child is well cared for and has a wonderful experience.

Want to learn more?  Contact our children’s director, Christy Nunn.  She would love to talk to you!

Check In Process
We know that as a parent you need to be sure your children are safe. On your first visit with us, you will register your child. You will then be given a numbered tag. for your child and a receipt tag to use to pickup your child. When you return you will use your receipt to pick up your child. Absolutely no one but you will be able to pick up your child at any time without this receipt.

Special Events

Ross kids with balloonsFriday Night Jam (3-5 graders) — A great outreach opportunity for our 3-5 graders!  We have pizza, games, Bible stories and a service project. FNJ is normally held once per quarter at Elda Elementary School.

Kids Faithshift (quarterly) — This 3-session class is designed for 3-7 graders to learn more about their faith journey. It is a parent/child class and reviews topics such as baptism, salvation, grace, repentance and sin.

Ross 9 squareSummer Programs — We typically offer a fun atmosphere for kids K-5 grade where kids can learn more about our God in a week-long setting.  It is typically the week after school lets out for the summer.

5th Sunday Service Projects — We believe that kids can be taught to love others and serve them! On 5th Sundays, we invite our 1-5 graders to participate in worship with their parents and then dismiss them before the sermon to do a service project.  Some examples of past service projects are:
• put together bracelets for Honduran kids
• prepared seed packets/napkins for people in Burkino Faso
• made blankets for homeless
• made dog toys for local animal shelter
