To find the classroom for your child
, come to the Children’s Welcome Center near The Zone on the main level.

The ZoneChildren are important to us!
We have age-appropriate classes for birth through fifth grade every Sunday. We use creative learning experiences to help your child develop a personal relationship with God. Within the GrowZone there are specific classes for infanKidsts, toddlers, 2-3 year olds, preK/K, and elementary children. Our workers are all safety background-checked and have a deep desire to see that your child is well cared for and has a wonderful experience.
Want to learn more?  Contact our children’s director, Karen Lynch Clark at klynch@thewocc.com.  She would love to talk to you!

Check In Process
We know that as a parent you want to be sure your children are safe. On your first visit with us, you will register your child at the ZONE check in.  You will be given a numbered tag for your child and a matching receipt tag to use to pickup your child. When you return you will use your receipt to pick up your child. Absolutely no one but you will be able to pick up your child at any time without this receipt. The next time you attend, you can use one of our self serve kiosk to check in with the last 4 digits of the main telephone number you used when registering. An electronic tag for you and your child will be printed.

Special Events
Friday Night Jam (4-5 graders)
A great outreach opportunity for our 4-5 graders to attend and invite their friends!  We have pizza, games, Bible stories and a service project. Click here for the 2017-18 dates and to print out a ticket.

Trunk or Treat
We provide a safe, fun alternative to trick or treat on the Sunday night prior to Halloween.  Costumes are invited (please no scary, gory, or clown costumes).  Your kids will have a great time and receive a ton of candy!

Kids Faithshift
This class is designed for 2-6 graders to learn more about their faith journey. It is a family experience class (bring younger and older siblings) and reviews topics such as baptism, salvation, grace, repentance and sin.

Summer Outreach
We have an incredibly fun atmosphere for kids entering K-5 grade where they can learn about God through adventurous Bible stories, fun crafts and games, and experiential worship.  The dates for 2018 are June 5-9.

Family Night on the Rock
A fun family event, picnic style, with food, games, and music all provided for free.  Typically the last Saturday of August.

Serving Opportunities
We would love for you to join the GrowZone Team!  All of our ministry teams work on rotations throughout the year. Click here for more information about serving.  We require any volunteer of children’s ministry to have a background check. First serve opportunities include hospitality, check in, and greeting.  More extensive roles would be available for those who have participated in training.  Click here to let us know where you are interested in serving.
