Today I presented to the kids about missions at both hours of GrowZone at our Colerain Campus. We learned where each missionary serves, what they do and how they spread joy and hope to those in that area. I told them the names and a little history of the mission for each one.
We talked about how many of our mission partners began at White Oak and are now serving our God around the world. We gave examples like when Minta came for VBS, Matthew preached on Sunday, Suja talked about Africa, Leon from Haiti and went to school with Rick who is a member of WOCC.
The kids loved it and made cards of encouragement and notes to send them, which I will email some of them to the liaisons and missionaries in the field.
