What’s one small way you could serve someone this week? Sometimes it’s the smallest rhythms that change us the most.
Marie started bringing coffee to random people at school—no big agenda, no flashy moment. Just a simple act of kindness, prayed over and handed out.
And what happened? It didn’t just impact others—it started reshaping her own heart.
 ➡️ Serving as a rhythm, not a random act ➡️ Becoming more like Jesus in the doing, not just the thinking

What’s one small way you could serve someone this week?

@whiteoakcc The desert can feel like a lonely place—dry, distant, quiet. But it’s not empty.
Psalm 63:1–8 is a prayer from someone who’s been there. Someone thirsty for God and clinging to hope in the silence.
“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water…” Psalm 63
Prayer isn’t about getting the words right, it’s about turning toward the God who meets us in the wilderness.
Just like the Joshua tree, shaped by harsh winds and desert drought, you’re being formed, rooted deeper, reaching higher, made stronger. You don’t have to wait for perfect peace to pray.

At White Oak, generosity isn’t just a part of the service—it’s part of the story God is writing in us.

We give because God is a giver.
We give because it forms us.
We give because it opens our hands and aligns our hearts with what matters most.
