“Don’t be afraid of it.”

That’s the advice Marie gives to anyone curious about fasting or trying to listen for God’s direction.

It’s not about getting the rules right.
It’s not about skipping a meal for the sake of it.
It’s about creating space for your heart to change.

When you fast or when you set something aside, you’re showing God you’re serious about hearing His voice. And sometimes that’s the hardest part:
⚪ Being still enough to listen.
⚪ Trusting that He will speak.
⚪ Asking: “God, what do You want me to do here?”

In this Rhythms season, we’re learning to lean in. And when you do, it’s not just the situation that changes. It’s you.

Our pride loosens its grip. We stop worrying about how we’re seen. And in that space, our souls can breathe again.
This is the rhythm of service: It frees us from ourselves. It forms us into something new. It reminds us we were made for more than just me.

50 high school students and leaders are off to @ciymove this week.
They’ll spend the next few days at Lee University discovering more about Jesus, their identity in Him, and what it means to be Kingdom workers.

It’s a week filled with powerful worship, real conversations, and moments that often change lives forever.

As they walk through powerful worship, Biblical teaching, small groups, and unforgettable moments of surrender, will you pray for them and their leaders?

▶️ Deep, lasting encounters with Jesus
▶️ Strength, patience, and peace for our leaders

We’re excited to see what God does—and to come back and share those stories with you.

True freedom doesn’t come from chasing what you want. It comes from letting go. From serving. From surrender.

Service is freedom from me.

Jesus reshapes our rhythm when we serve others—it’s where purpose meets peace.
