Zac Owens

As Worship Pastor at White Oak, Zac loves that his role goes beyond music. He’s passionate about collaborating with teams across both campuses, creating worship environments, and supporting ministries that help people connect with God. One of his favorite things about White Oak is the intergenerational diversity within the ministry teams — a beautiful reminder that we're better together.

Fun Fact: Zac has performed on stage with Kelly Clarkson, gone skydiving, has never owned a Smart TV, and surprisingly... he doesn’t like cheese.

Family: No spouse, no kids — and fully content in this season of life.

Hobbies: Zac enjoys working out, writing songs, catching up on podcasts, and sipping on a good cup of coffee.

Favorite White Oak Memory: There are many — but highlights include leading worship at Summer Kids Camp, crafting prayer experiences for the church, and famously getting attacked by a goose in the church parking lot (ask him about it sometime).

Favorite Scripture: John 16:33 — “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

For Zac, worship is more than music — it's about creating space for people to experience Jesus and be reminded of His peace and victory in a complicated world.
