A Cup We Would Not Choose - Monday, March 23

Luke 22:39–44 (Click to access the full text.)
In the garden, Jesus prays honestly. He does not hide His anguish or pretend obedience is easy. He asks for another way and then entrusts Himself fully to the Father.
This moment reveals that faithfulness does not require the absence of struggle. Surrender often includes wrestling. Trust is forged not in ease, but in honest dependence on God.
The Easter season gives us permission to bring our whole selves before God - fear, doubt, and all.
Reflection Question: Is there something in your life that feels like a “cup” you would not choose?
Prayer: God, help me trust You even when the path is hard. Amen.
As we move closer to Holy Week, we’re adding something special to our daily texts. Beginning Saturday, March 28 - Saturday, April 4, you’ll receive an additional message at 3:00 PM each day. These messages will include a short Holy Week Video from Nathan Hinkle, our Lead Pastor and are designed to walk you through the meaning and events of Holy Week.
You will continue to receive the regular 7:00 AM devotional Monday–Friday. We invite you to continue the habit you've built while expanding your preparation with the short afternoon videos.
