Create in Me a Clean Heart - Tuesday, March 3

Psalm 51:1–12 (Click to access the full text.)

David’s prayer is not a promise to do better. It is a plea for God to do what only God can do. “Create in me a clean heart” is a confession of dependence. True repentance is not self-improvement; it is renewal.

God is not interested in surface change alone. He desires transformed hearts. Hearts that are honest, teachable, and responsive to His Spirit. The lead up to Easter creates space for this kind of inner work, not through striving, but through surrender.

When we bring our brokenness to God, He meets us with mercy and restores our joy.

Reflection Question: What part of your heart might God be inviting you to renew this season?

Prayer: God, create in me a clean heart. Restore my joy of walking with You. Amen.
