John 19:16–30 (Click to access the full text.)
On Good Friday, Jesus is crucified. He suffers, forgives, and entrusts Himself to the Father. His final words, “It is finished”, signal that the work of redemption is complete.
This is a day of mourning and awe. The cross reveals the seriousness of sin and the depth of God’s love. Jesus bears what we could not, offering forgiveness, healing, and hope.
We do not rush past this moment. We sit with the weight of love poured out and the cost of grace given freely.
Reflection Question: What does the cross reveal to you about God’s love for you?
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice. Teach me to live in the freedom and gratitude Your love makes possible. Amen.
We invite you to join us for Good Friday services TONIGHT and to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Sunday morning. You can learn more at www.thewocc.com
