Romans 2:4 (Click to access the full text.)
We often think of repentance as something we owe God. Scripture tells a different story: repentance is something God gives us. It is His kindness that leads us to change.
God does not shame us into transformation. He draws us with patience and grace. When we see God clearly - His goodness, mercy, and faithfulness - our hearts begin to soften. We want to turn, not because we must, but because we trust Him.
This time is not about harsh self-examination. It is about allowing God’s kindness to reshape our direction. Repentance is not punishment; it is grace at work.
Reflection Question: How has God shown you kindness, even in moments when you felt far from Him?
Practice: Thank God today for one specific expression of His kindness in your life.
